Cadillac has introduced its latest all-electric model, the 2025 Escalade IQ, showcasing a blend of opulent choices and enhanced technological features.

The electric vehicle rolls out with a base price of $130,000 USD, or $170,000 if configured to match the exemplar depicted in the gallery above, in accordance with the automaker’s official website. Irrespective of the array of features selected, the driving force behind the vehicle is a substantial 200kWh battery, boasting an impressive range of 450 miles. This substantial range positions the vehicle as a strong contender in the electric vehicle market.

While lacking the traditional roar and rumble associated with its internal combustion counterpart, the electric variant of the Escalade IQ makes up for it with an imposing presence on the road. This is achieved through a truncated rear end and an elongated hood, housing an innovative “eTrunk” that confers an extra 12 cubic feet of storage space.

The Escalade IQ, featuring a dual-motor “eAWD” system, impressively delivers 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque, ensuring a 0-60 mph acceleration time of under five seconds when engaged in the “Velocity Max” mode.

The vehicle is slated to launch in two distinct design iterations: Luxury and Sport, catering to diverse aesthetic preferences. The interior can be personalized with one of four themes, along with ambient lighting offering a choice of 126 colours.

On the technological front, the Escalade IQ takes a leap forward, boasting a 55-inch LED display powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 12 Cockpit Platform. It also integrates Google’s navigation suite, incorporating features such as Google Maps and hands-free voice commands.

Noteworthy technology upgrades comprise the novel Super Cruise advanced driver-assist system, which enables hands-free driving across an extensive network of North American highways. Another intriguing addition is the “Arrival Mode,” reminiscent of GMC’s EV Hummer’s “Crab Walk.” The IQ model also includes four-wheel steering, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, and advanced safety features.

Consistent with the Escalade lineage, the IQ model provides a broad spectrum of creature comforts and luxurious augmentations. This encompasses the possibility of selecting an executive second-row seating option, furnished with amenities like retractable trays, rear personal screens, massaging seats complemented by integrated AKG Studio speakers, and more.

While charging convenience often remains a challenge or decisive factor for prospective EV drivers, the Escalade IQ offers a swift charging mode that facilitates a gain of 100 miles within merely 10 minutes at compatible charging stations. To delve deeper into its offerings, personalize your own configuration, or embark on a virtual tour of the 2025 Escalade IQ, explore Cadillac’s official website.
