Cadillac has unveiled the all-electric Escalade IQL, marking a bold step into the luxury electric vehicle market. With a starting price of $132,695, the IQL is not just a status symbol but a showcase of power and innovation. At 228.4 inches, it’s one of the longest production vehicles ever, surpassing the gas-powered Escalade ESV by 1.4 inches.

“The Escalade IQL shows Cadillac’s commitment to luxury and sustainability,” said John Roth, Vice President of Global Cadillac. “We are not just electrifying our fleet; we are elevating the entire experience.” Powered by dual electric motors, the IQL delivers a staggering 750 horsepower, launching from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds despite weighing over four tons. Its estimated 460-mile range sets a new benchmark for electric SUVs, though load and towing may impact this figure.

The IQL’s interior is as impressive as its performance. The Executive Second Row package offers heated, cooled, and massaging seats, along with individual 12.6-inch screens. Third-row passengers also benefit from the extended dimensions, gaining four inches of legroom and an extra inch of headroom. Production is set to begin in Detroit later this year, with the model expected to hit showrooms as part of Cadillac’s 2026 lineup.
