Car buyers in Nigeria are set to enjoy more peace of mind and value for money as Carloha Nigeria unveiled the new Chery Tiggo 9 SUV and its bold CarlohaCare 6-6-7 service package.

At a launch event in Lagos, the company promised to redefine the vehicle ownership experience by combining Chinese innovation, local expertise, and long-term customer support.

CarlohaCare 6-6-7 offers six years of warranty, six years of free scheduled maintenance, and a seven-day repair promise backed by a courtesy car guarantee. Carloha described this as the “boldest service promise” in Nigeria’s auto market, aimed at easing the anxieties of buyers who often struggle with poor aftersales support.

“This programme ensures peace of mind, reliability, and lasting value for every Carloha customer,” said Sola Adigun, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria. “We are positioning Carloha as the most trusted aftersales brand in Nigeria.”

The launch also highlighted China’s growing role in shaping global mobility. Chery, China’s largest vehicle exporter, has sold over five million units worldwide and now operates in more than 80 countries. Adigun said Nigeria can now share in the same quality that is winning global acceptance.

“Chinese innovation is transforming the auto industry, and Nigerian buyers now have direct access to that world-class technology,” he said.

Carloha is also investing heavily in human capital, training local technicians to service Chery vehicles to global standards. Adigun explained that this would guarantee reliable parts, skilled service, and fewer delays for Nigerian car owners.

On the product side, the Tiggo 9 was unveiled as Carloha’s flagship SUV for families and businesses. Taiwo Akinpelu, Carloha’s marketing general manager, described it as “a landmark addition” to the SUV market.

“The Tiggo 9 combines cutting-edge technology, premium comfort, and top-tier safety standards,” Akinpelu said. “Every journey is protected not only by engineering excellence but also by the CarlohaCare 6-6-7 service promise.”

Beyond sales, Carloha revealed plans to begin local vehicle assembly in Nigeria by 2026. The move is expected to cut costs, create jobs, and expand Nigeria’s automotive production base.

Analysts say the combination of affordable mobility, strong service backup, and local production could push Carloha into a leading position as Nigerian consumers demand better value in tough economic times.
