The 2025 Volvo EX30 is small. But it moves fast. Volvo’s newest compact SUV blends speed, safety, and smart tech at a starting price of $47,895. It is now one of the boldest entries in the growing Electric SUV market.
Performance Meets All-Wheel Drive Power
The EX30 offers two powertrains. The single motor makes 268 horsepower. The dual motor makes 422 horsepower and includes All-wheel drive (AWD).
That top version hits 0–60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. That makes it one of the fastest Volvos ever built.
The EPA-estimated range is up to 261 miles for the single motor and 250 miles for the dual motor. Efficiency stands at 127 MPGe city and 104 MPGe highway.
Built for Luxury Electric Vehicle Buyers
Inside, the EX30 uses 25% recycled aluminum and 17% recycled plastic. A 12.3-inch screen runs Google built-in and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It also comes standard with Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These features help prevent crashes by supporting braking and steering.
At $47,895, Volvo positions the EX30 as an entry-level option in the Luxury electric vehicles segment. It competes with the Genesis GV60 and Kia Niro EV.
Cross Country: From City to Snow
Volvo also unveiled the EX30 Cross Country in Sweden. It adds higher ground clearance, bigger wheels, and standard AWD. Range reaches up to 427km. Fast charging allows 10–80% in about 26 minutes.
