Hyundai has officially launched the Ioniq 9; a groundbreaking all-electric SUV made in the United States. Assembled at the company’s $7.6 billion plant in Georgia, the three-row EV promises both impressive range and top-tier performance.

The Ioniq 9 offers up to 335 miles on a full charge and features ultra-fast charging in under 30 minutes. With a 5,000-pound towing capacity, Hyundai says this SUV blends family-friendly functionality with cutting-edge electric technology. Early reactions from test drives show strong consumer interest and curiosity, especially in Georgia where the vehicle is being road-tested.

The plant producing the Ioniq 9 is expected to hit a production capacity of 500,000 vehicles annually, manufacturing not only Hyundai EVs but also Kia and Genesis models. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, this investment marks a major milestone for American EV manufacturing, contributing to job growth and technological leadership in the electric mobility space.

EVs like the Ioniq 9 offer real financial savings for drivers, including lower fuel costs and reduced maintenance compared to petrol-powered vehicles. Combined with clean energy options like solar charging, owners could potentially save up to $10,000 over time.
