CIG MOTORS GROUP, a leading automotive conglomerate in Nigeria and West Africa, has announced the appointment of Jubril Arogundade as its new Executive Director, effective May 1st, 2024. Mr. Arogundade will be responsible for spearheading the strategic direction and operational excellence of the group.

Established in 2013, CIG Motors Co., Ltd has been a key player in the Nigerian automotive industry, representing renowned brands such as GAC, JMC, WULING, and DFM. The Group’s partnership with Guangzhou Group Automobile Group Co., (GAC Motor) has enabled it to offer a diverse portfolio of vehicles and services to meet the evolving needs of consumers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Jubril to the CIG MOTORS Group’s highest management level,” said Chief Diana Chen, Chairman of CIG Motors Group in a statement. “His strategic vision, leadership acumen, and passion for excellence make him the ideal candidate to lead our group into its next chapter of success.”

With a background in Marketing, Sales, Operations, Information Technology, and Media Communications, Arogundade brings nine years of invaluable leadership and expertise to his new role. His proven ability to drive growth and foster innovation aligns seamlessly with CIG MOTORS’ commitment to delivering unparalleled value and service to its customers.

Expressing his excitement, Arogundade stated in a post on his Instagram account, “I am honoured to continue with CIG MOTORS GROUP as Executive Director, and I am excited to lead this esteemed organization to new heights. Together with our talented team, we will continue to elevate the automotive experience for our customers while driving sustainable growth and success across the region.”

Jubril was recently recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans for 2024. This prestigious award, presented at an event organized by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation at the British Council in Accra, celebrates outstanding entrepreneurs, activists, and individuals who have excelled in their fields.
