Motorcycle enthusiasts were treated to a glimpse of the future at the 2025 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este as BMW Motorrad unveiled the Concept RR superbike, a 230-horsepower street machine built with racing DNA and cutting-edge technology.
Developed as a tribute to BMW’s World Superbike (WSBK) legacy, particularly the M 1000 RR ridden by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, the Concept RR channels the adrenaline and precision of championship-winning engineering into a road-ready superbike. It features a water-cooled inline four-cylinder engine and advanced electronics, making it one of BMW’s most performance-focused street machines ever.
The Concept RR isn’t just about raw power. BMW has meticulously crafted it using lightweight carbon and aluminum components. The aerodynamic fairings, sculpted tail section, and integrated winglets are engineered for speed, stability, and downforce, even at extreme velocities.
Key systems such as dynamic traction control, adjustable engine braking, and MotoGP-style aerodynamics are lifted straight from the WSBK paddock. These technologies ensure the rider gets a race-ready feel with every twist of the throttle, yet with the finesse needed for public roads.
To complement the reveal, BMW partnered with German luxury leather brand MEINDL to launch the Concept RR LTD jacket. Only 50 pieces will be made, crafted from premium calf Nappa leather and echoing the superbike’s aesthetic.
Markus Flasch, Head of BMW Motorrad, described the Concept RR as “a true masterpiece” and “the clearest example yet of how far we can push boundaries in design and performance.” More than a concept, the bike signals a bold shift in BMW’s superbike vision, faster, lighter, and street-legal.
