Siltech World, a leading electric mobility ecosystem development has announced the addition of new partners, Swap Station Mobility and Glovo, to its Siltech EV Ecosystem Products and Services.

This strategic move marks a significant step forward in deploying electric vehicles (EVs) across Siltech’s innovative product offerings, further solidifying its position as a leader in Africa’s electric mobility ecosystem.

Siltech World

Glovo, a Spanish tech company renowned as the fastest-growing multi-category player in Europe, Western Asia, and Africa, brings a wealth of expertise to the partnership. With a strong focus on technology, the logistics firm connects customers, businesses, and couriers, ensuring a sustainable impact on communities and the ecosystem.

Swap Station Mobility Limited, on the other hand, specializes in electric vehicles and battery-swapping infrastructure, offering low-cost, clean mobility alternatives primarily targeting the logistics and last-mile delivery sector across urban and rural settings.

Speaking on the partnership, Tolu Williams, founder of Siltech World, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating its significance in advancing sustainable mobility. “This partnership marks the dawn of a new era in sustainable mobility,” Williams said. “We are thrilled to introduce our innovative Siltech EV Ecosystem Products and Services to our esteemed partners. Among our latest offerings is the Ginsu, a versatile electric vehicle designed for personal and logistics use.”

The Ginsu, equipped with cutting-edge battery swap technology, will leverage Siltech’s strategically located Energy Hub Stations across Lagos to ensure seamless operations. This collaboration underscores Siltech’s commitment to deploying electric vehicles across its ecosystem, propelling forward its mission of sustainable transportation solutions.

Siltech World, at the forefront of Africa’s electric mobility revolution, boasts a robust presence in over 80% of the electric vehicle value chain, encompassing battery assembly, vehicle manufacturing, charging infrastructure, consultancy, and after-sales services.
