The A321neo is the longest-fuselage member of Airbus’ best-selling single-aisle A320 Family. It can comfortably seat 180 to 220 passengers in a typical two-class interior layout and as many as 244 in a higher-density arrangement.
It has a total length of 44.51m (146ft), a height of 11.76m (38ft 7in), and a wing span of 35.80m (117ft 5in).
Like most mainline American Airlines planes, the Airbus A321neo has three seats on each side of the aisle. This plane has 176 seats in economy class. Most have a distance of 18.25 inches between the thin armrests, and all seats have a two-fold headrest to help you sleep.
American Airlines got the first of 100 Airbus A321neo planes on February 1, 2019. After two months of testing, getting certified, and training, the plane started flying from Phoenix to Orlando and back on April 2.
