Carloha Nigeria, the official assembler of Chery vehicles, has sealed a landmark partnership with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), a move set to reshape both the nation’s sports and automotive industries. Announced at the Carloha showroom on February 19, the deal strengthens private sector support for Nigerian football, enhancing player mobility and development.

The agreement aligns Carloha with Nigeria’s most popular sport, reinforcing its brand presence while driving grassroots and professional football initiatives. “This partnership isn’t just about vehicles—it’s about long-term investment in Nigerian football’s future,” said Sola Adigun, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria.

CEO Liang Long underscored Carloha’s ambition to propel the Super Eagles to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, calling the collaboration a “priority project.” “Football is global, and so is Carloha. Nigeria has the best team in Africa, and we’re proud to support them,” he stated.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau welcomed the alliance, highlighting the crucial role of corporate partnerships in sports development. “With Carloha on board, we can strengthen our programs and inspire millions of fans across the country,” he said.

The event, attended by top dignitaries, journalists, and stakeholders, also featured an exclusive showroom tour showcasing Carloha’s latest Chery models tailored for Nigerian roads. The official signing of the agreement marked the beginning of a transformative journey for both parties.

Beyond branding, Carloha’s backing of Nigerian football signals a broader corporate shift toward sports investment. As the leading exporter of Chinese vehicles, Chery continues to expand its global footprint, leveraging strategic partnerships to boost market presence.
