Siltech, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, has announced its partnership with Pam Africa, a distributed renewable energy solution company, to provide access to clean energy in Nigeria. This partnership aims to provide eco-friendly goods and services, focusing on scalable, reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy solutions.

Furthermore, PAM Africa’s Net-Zero Villages (NZVs) initiative is another approach to solving the energy problem facing many people globally who lack access to energy. These communities will offset more greenhouse gases than they produce and provide significant employment opportunities to rural dwellers, creating over 112 new job opportunities for each community.
Patrick Agese, chief executive at PAM Africa, in a report, emphasised the importance of NZVs in Nigeria, stating, “Over 80 million Nigerians do not currently have access to energy, and because of this, 45 per cent of goods are lost due to a lack of refrigeration. But today, we are empowering people to drive us closer to a future where energy across the country is 100% renewable, reliable, and accessible.”
“Each NZV will feature various innovative technologies for affordable, clean, and quality energy access, including solar mesh grids, mini-grids, battery hubs, so-cool systems, and e-mobility solutions,” Agese continued. “These features make NZVs attractive and impactful, addressing various challenges in African communities, including food, water, transport, energy, and security.”
PAM Africa’s commitment to developing 200 NZVs by 2030 will create 20,000 new jobs for rural dwellers and offset 56,700 tonnes of greenhouse gases with more funding. The initiative’s readiness for infrastructure will also support the use of electric vehicles (EVs), contributing to the growth of e-mobility in Africa.
