Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest E-Class model for 2024, which boasts a modern look and sophisticated technologies that prioritise tech-savviness while remaining classic.

The new W214-generation E-Class model features a three-box design that blends a classic sedan look with an enlarged interior and advanced technologies, setting itself apart from other midsize sedans in the Mercedes-Benz lineup. Compared to its predecessor, the updated model has a slightly longer wheelbase that provides more room for second-row passengers. The vehicle offers two distinct front-end designs: a sleek grille with vivid slats and a Mercedes-Benz emblem, and a sportier version with a large star motif.

Inside, the car offers an immersive digital experience with the MBUX infotainment system, and comes with a SuperScreen package that includes a third screen for the front passenger. The additional screen allows riders to play games, scroll through social media, watch videos, and take photos with an in-car camera.

The center console includes two storage compartments, with one located on the column and the other under the armrest. The latter compartment houses a charging port. The vehicle’s modern technology is complemented by a classic interior that features leather upholstery, wood trims, and traditional Mercedes touches.

The new E-Class will be available in two versions at launch: the E 350 4Matic and the E 450 4Matic. The former is equipped with a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 255 horsepower at 5,800 rpm, while the latter features a turbocharged, 3.0-liter straight-six engine capable of generating 375 horsepower. Both versions are powered by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that can deliver up to 148 pound-feet of torque.

Production of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is set to commence in the coming months, with the vehicle becoming available for purchase later this year. While pricing has not yet been disclosed, the latest E-Class model promises to deliver a seamless blend of classic styling and cutting-edge technology.
