Carloha Nigeria, the official franchise holder, assembler and authorised distributor of Chery vehicles in Nigeria, has announced the nationwide availability of the Chery Q, bringing a new generation of intelligent, practical and enjoyable electric mobility closer to Nigerian motorists.

Built around Chery’s global “Quest for Joy” philosophy, the Chery Q combines distinctive design, intelligent technology, advanced safety, practicality and efficient electric performance. It also continues the heritage of Chery’s iconic QQ family, reimagined for a new generation of drivers seeking a cleaner, smarter and more connected mobility experience.

Designed for young professionals, growing families, first-time EV buyers and urban motorists, the Chery Q combines style with everyday practicality. Its award-winning design, recognised with the Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award, features expressive geometric styling, rounded LED lighting and a modern two-tone interior.

Despite its compact footprint, the Chery Q delivers an 85 percent space-efficiency ratio. Its 4,195 mm length and 2,700 mm wheelbase provide generous passenger space, while luggage capacity expands from 375 litres to 1,450 litres, complemented by a 70-litre front trunk and 38 smart storage compartments. This makes it well suited to commuting, shopping, family activities and weekend travel.

Electric Performance and Smart Technology

Built on a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform with independent suspension and balanced weight distribution, the Chery Q delivers confident handling and stability. Electric Power Steering and the One-Box Brake-by-Wire system enhance driving precision, smoothness and confidence while supporting energy recovery. Chery Q offers an estimated 400-kilometre NEDC driving range, helping customers undertake extended daily journeys with fewer charging interruptions. Its ultra-fast charging capability can recharge the battery from 30 percent to 80 percent in approximately 16.5 minutes, reducing charging downtime.

The vehicle also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing owners to power compatible electrical devices and outdoor equipment directly from the vehicle. Inside, a 15.6-inch high-definition touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor anchors the digital experience. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, intelligent voice control, 50W wireless charging, smartphone integration and remote vehicle management through a mobile application provide convenient connectivity for everyday driving.

Advanced Safety for Greater Confidence
Safety is a major strength of the Chery Q, which features a Level 2 Intelligent Driver Assistance System with more than 20 advanced safety functions. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent High Beam Control, a 540-degree panoramic camera and Automated Parking Assist. Together, these technologies provide additional support during everyday driving, helping motorists navigate traffic, parking and potential hazards with greater confidence and reassurance.

CarlohaCare: Superior Aftersales Support for Absolute Peace of Mind.

For Carloha Nigeria, the Chery Q launch is about more than introducing another electric vehicle. It is about providing customers with confidence throughout their ownership journey through superior aftersales support and absolute peace of mind.

Every Chery Q comes with CarlohaCare 6-6-7, providing six years warranty, six years of free scheduled service up to 120,000 kilometres, and a seven-day repair promise. Under the repair promise, Carloha commits to repairing the vehicle within seven days or providing a courtesy vehicle if the repair is not completed within that timeframe.
The support is further strengthened by CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Rescue, providing roadside assistance and a 24-hour assistance line to give Chery owners, with limited slots for non-Chery owners, additional reassurance when unexpected motoring challenges arise.

Together, CarlohaCare 6-6-7 and CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Rescue demonstrate Carloha’s commitment to supporting customers beyond the point of purchase and throughout the ownership experience.
Commenting on the arrival of the Chery Q, Felix Mahan, General Manager, Marketing, Carloha Nigeria, said: “The arrival of the Chery Q represents the fulfilment of our promise to bring another exciting Chery electric vehicle to Nigeria. We are pleased that the Chery Q is now available nationwide, giving more Nigerians the opportunity to experience intelligent, sustainable and enjoyable electric mobility.”
He added:

“The Chery Q brings together award-winning design, intelligent technology, practical space, advanced safety, impressive electric range and fast charging. Beyond the vehicle itself, our commitment is to give customers the confidence that comes with superior aftersales support. Through CarlohaCare 6-6-7 and CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Rescue, we are providing the support and reassurance customers need for absolute peace of mind.”

The Chery Q is now available at Carloha showrooms nationwide, offering Nigerian motorists a new interpretation of compact electric mobility that combines style, intelligence, practicality, sustainability and peace of mind in one compelling package.
