Range Rover has unveiled the all-new 2024 Velar SUV, which features a reductionist design approach with a lot of high-tech upgrades.
Although updated numerous times since its debut in 2017, the 2024 model represents a much-needed step towards sophisticated connection.
The exterior changes in the new model are subtle, and features new front and back lights with technical, jewel-like designs, a restyled grille, and a new rear bumper. The automobile is now available in two new colorways: Metallic Varesine Blue and Premium Metallic Zadar Gray.
On the interior, the automobile got more noticeable alterations. The former two-screen infotainment system was replaced by a new “floating” 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen display in the center of the dashboard. The device, which used the most recent version of Land Rover’s Pivi Pro software, included controls for all important vehicle systems.
Also, the 2024 Velar also features new seat designs and materials, including leather, synthetic suedes, and Kvadrat, a Danish wool blend that serves as an upmarket, eco-friendly substitute for animal hides. Range Rover now offers three new leather colours: Cloud, Raven Blue, and Deep Garnet, as well as new chrome trimmings on the steering wheel, air vents, and central console.
The P250 models are powered by a 247-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, while the P400 cars are powered by a 395-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with a 48-volt hybrid system. The S P250 starts at $62,775 USD, while the Dynamic SE P250 starts at $64,875 USD. Meanwhile, the Dynamic SE P400 starts at $71,875 USD, while the Dynamic HSE P400 starts at $79,675 USD.
