Ram is turning its 2026 trucks into a giant birthday card for the USA. To celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, the brand is launching a special set of pickups. They call it the America250 edition. You can get it on three popular models: the Big Horn, Laramie, and Rebel.
What Makes These Trucks Different?
These trucks only come in three colours: red, white, or blue. They feature a special “Sport Performance” hood and blacked-out wheels and handles. The coolest part? There is a big American flag on the side of the truck. Inside, you get red, white, and blue stitching everywhere. The seats even have a velcro patch. Ram says this is for “military patches” to make the truck feel even more personal.
Why It Matters to Your Wallet
If you want one of these special edition pickup trucks, be ready to pay. The Big Horn starts at $61,415. If you want the more rugged Rebel, the 2026 Ram 1500 MSRP jumps to $72,830. Because these are limited production vehicles, they might hold their value better than a normal truck. But you are paying a high price for the look.
The Price of Patriotism
Ram is leaning hard into its identity as an American brand. These trucks are “rolling billboards” for the country’s big 2-5-0. While the tech under the hood is similar to other off-road performance models, the visual changes are bold. For some, the $10,000+ price jump over a base model is worth it for the “exclusive” feel. For others, it’s a lot of money for some new thread and a sticker.
