Porsche Thailand has unveiled a limited edition 911 Carrera GTS to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The bespoke car pays homage to Thailand’s colorful culture and heritage.
The car’s design features different colors to represent each day of the week, which are also the lucky colors of people born on those days.
The car’s bespoke touches include black 20 and 21-inch Turbo S center lock wheels, brake calipers, and plaques with the “30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition” logo.
Inside, the car has black corduroy seat inlays, pebble grey seat pipings, and contrast stitching, as well as an anniversary logo stitched onto each headrest.
Porsche Thailand has also created an Inspiration Car featuring all seven colors of the Edition collection, which will be displayed at the Bangkok International Motor Show.
The 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition is rooted in colorful symbolism and is brimming with artisanal qualities – just like the country it draws inspiration from.
This special edition features a limited number of 911 Carrera GTS models that can be customized with Paint to Sample shades to represent the Thai colors of the week. These colors include Signalyellow, Rubystar, Signalgreen, Pastelorange, Rivierablue, Ultraviolet, and Firered, all of which are signature Porsche hues.
“With this Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition, we pay tribute to this amazing country that has been so welcoming to our brand, and that keeps inspiring us with its vibrant culture and people that are truly driven by their dreams,” said Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific.
“Over the past 30 years, Porsche Thailand has been on an incredible journey of growth. Thanks to the intense passion and unwavering support of our community, Porsche has found its way into the hearts of the Thai people, and likewise, Thailand has found its way into the heart of Porsche,” said Peter Rohwer, managing director of Porsche, Thailand.
