Nissan has officially unveiled its 2024 GT-R lineup, which includes a new facelift and rear designs that improve the aerodynamics of the legendary sports car, at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
The GT-R, which made its first appearance back in 2007 returned this year, joining the Premium and NISMO models. The exclusive Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple paint colours, which pay tribute to some of the rarest R34 GT-R models, were also redesigned and launched.
Both the 2024 GT-R Premium and the 2024 GT-R T-Spec were rated at 565 horsepower, while the GT-R NISMO, rated at 600 horsepower, has great performance that comes from motorsports.
The exterior design indicated the front and back fascias were changed, as well as the grille, rear wings, and bumper sides. The changes made it possible to keep the drag coefficient the same while getting more downforce. The GT-R NISMO has a new rear wing in the shape of a swan’s neck that is almost 10% bigger than its predecessor. It also has a redesigned front lip and rear diffuser, RAYS forged 20-inch wheels, a unique clear coat on the carbon fibre hood, Recaro seats, and a different design for the engine cover.
For the new T-spec trim, there are special badges on the inside and outside, as well as a dark Mori Green finish and front seats made of semi-aniline and suede. The 2024 GT-R has a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine with 24 valves and a titanium exhaust system.
