Lamborghini, an Italian car manufacturer has announced its latest release, the Revuelto (also known as codename LB-744) as a replacement for the Aventador model. The unveiling comes just before marque’s 60th anniversary
This car boasts a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine combined with three electric motors, making it Lamborghini’s first step into the world of electrification.
The Revuelto is Lamborghini’s most powerful car to date, producing 1,001 BHP and can reach 0-62 MPH in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 217 MPH. It also features a lightweight carbon fiber tub and a brand-new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, making it a high-performance electric vehicle (HPEV).
Despite its high-performance capabilities, the Revuelto is expected to be 30% more fuel-efficient than its predecessor, the Aventador. The car’s design is quintessentially Lamborghini, with sharp angles and wedged profiles that nod to iconic models like the Countach.
The car features a touchscreen infotainment system, passenger-side letterbox display, and more space than the Aventador.
While pricing and order dates are yet to be announced, the Revuelto is expected to cost more than the Aventador SVJ, which had a price tag of $515,000 USD.
Just before the 60th anniversary of the marque, Lamborghini unveiled Revuelto, the first HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) hybrid super sports car. With the Revuelto, Lamborghini has established a new benchmark in performance, on-board technology, and driving pleasure.
