Originally known as YN 20655, Solemates is the latest addition to Heesen’s renowned 55-meter steel class. But this isn’t just another launch; it’s the second Heesen superyacht built for its experienced owner. Their deep knowledge of the seas heavily influenced the bespoke design and onboard amenities, turning Solemates into a floating retreat tailored for indulgence and adventure.
A standout feature is the expansive Jacuzzi on the sundeck, a prime space for relaxation and entertainment. Designed in close collaboration with Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Heesen’s in-house team, the interiors are vibrant and elegant. Highlights include a reimagined main staircase made with gold-flake acrylic panels and color-rich living spaces that bring a warm, personal touch.
The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across multiple suites, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck with a private French balcony. The VIP suite sits on the bridge deck, while four guest cabins line the lower deck. Up to 13 crew members ensure every detail is taken care of during long voyages.
On the exterior, designer Frank Laupman of Omega Architects infused modern flair into Solemates’ sleek silhouette. The yacht boasts a robust steel Fast Displacement hull and twin MTU 4000 M63 engines, pushing the vessel to a top speed of 15.5 knots. With a volume of 760 GT, it’s built for long-range cruising with style.
Yachting fans will get their first public look at Solemates during the Monaco Yacht Show this September. For those dreaming of life aboard, the vessel will also be available for private charter through the Luxury Yacht Group. As far as ocean escapes go, this one is hard to top.
