Formula 1 (F1) enthusiasts can prepare for a year of adrenaline-pumping action as the 2025 season promises 24 Grand Prix races across iconic locations worldwide. The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) unveiled the official calendar, coinciding with Formula 1’s milestone 75th anniversary.
“This is more than just a calendar; it’s a celebration of 75 years of racing excellence,” said Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 President and CEO. “With 24 races, we’re giving fans an unprecedented season to remember.”
The season will kick off in Melbourne, Australia, from March 14 to 16, marking the start of the high-octane journey. Following that, the action will move to Asia with races in China, Japan, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, before heading to Miami in the United States for the first North American stop. European fans can look forward to iconic races in Imola, Monaco, Barcelona, and Silverstone, among others, during the summer months.
As the calendar transitions into late summer, the action will shift to the Netherlands, Hungary, and Belgium before moving to Monza, Italy. Autumn will feature a series of electrifying races in Azerbaijan, Singapore, and North and South America, with stops in Austin, Mexico City, and São Paulo. The season will conclude in November and December with dramatic back-to-back events in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
Changes introduced in 2024 to improve the geographical flow of the races will continue in 2025. This arrangement reduces logistical hurdles, starting with races in Asia before transitioning to Europe and concluding in the Americas and the Middle East. Pre-season testing is scheduled for February 26 to 28 in Bahrain.
The 2025 season offers fans a chance to witness history as Formula 1 celebrates 75 years of unmatched racing legacy. With thrilling circuits, iconic locations, and unforgettable moments in store, the season promises to be one of the most exciting yet.
