Audi has unveiled a groundbreaking partnership with sports streaming giant DAZN, making it the first car manufacturer to offer live sports streaming directly from its in-car entertainment system. This move allows passengers to watch major sporting events such as the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup 2025, NFL, NBA, handball, and golf—all from the comfort of their Audi.
The integration, available through the Audi Application Store, brings DAZN to select Audi models, including the A5, Q5, A6, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron series. Passengers in the front seat can now stream live matches on the 10.9-inch MMI passenger display, even while the car is in motion. Meanwhile, drivers can access sports highlights during charging breaks.
A step forward in in-car entertainment
Audi’s latest move is part of a broader push to enhance its digital ecosystem, which already includes popular third-party apps like Amazon Music, Spotify, and YouTube. The DAZN integration was developed in collaboration with CARIAD, the software subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, and is expected to expand to other VW brands in the near future.
Shaping the future of digital mobility
With the rise of connected cars, Audi is at the forefront of transforming the driving experience beyond just mobility. The global market for in-car entertainment is projected to grow to $36 billion by 2030, driven by innovations like 5G connectivity, app-based streaming, and AI-powered infotainment.
By introducing DAZN to its vehicles, Audi is tapping into a growing demand for on-the-go digital entertainment, ensuring that sports fans stay connected to live events wherever they travel. The rollout of DAZN across more Volkswagen Group models is expected to follow in the coming months, signaling a future where cars become entertainment hubs on wheels.
