Several US states are racing to win back Canadian tourists after visits from America’s largest foreign travel market fell sharply in 2025, according to industry data.
Canadian visits to the U.S. dropped by about 20% between January and October 2025, a decline that is already hitting local economies dependent on cross-border travel.
