Volvo offers free upgrades to EX90 owners in move to win back trust

Volvo is offering a free hardware and software upgrade to owners of its all-electric EX90 SUV. The boost brings faster charging, smarter software and enhanced safety systems, benefits drivers will feel immediately.

In a rare step, Volvo will replace the core computer of 2025 EX90 vehicles free of charge, via service centre visits organised by the company. Until now, some EX90 drivers had complained of software glitches, missing features like Apple CarPlay, and unstable infotainment performance.  By doing this upgrade, Volvo hopes to regain customer confidence and show its commitment to product quality.
