Turkish boatbuilder VisionF, famed for its colorful cruising catamarans, has shocked the yachting world with a new high-speed innovation: the Superfast 46. This sleek 46-foot powerboat boasts a staggering top speed of 92 mph (80 knots), setting a new performance benchmark ahead of its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.
Unlike VisionF’s previous multihull vessels, the Superfast 46 is designed purely for speed. With an ultra-light composite hull built from vacuum-infused multi-axial carbon fiber, this aerodynamic machine slices through waves effortlessly. According to VisionF, this advanced construction ensures “unmatched handling at high speeds” and a thrilling, responsive ride for adrenaline-seeking enthusiasts.
Powering this marine missile are twin Mercury Racing Sportmaster engines, each pushing 450 horsepower. With 600-liter fuel tanks onboard, the Superfast 46 can deliver two hours of full-throttle exhilaration. Pilots can choose between precision hydraulic steering or Mercury’s Joystick Piloting system for optimal control. Other high-performance features include a carbon-fiber spoiler, pop-up Perko navigation lights, and a shimmering high-gloss finish.
Despite its ferocious exterior, the 12-foot beam allows for a surprisingly comfortable cabin experience. The cockpit features shock-absorbing seats wrapped in plush upholstery, a 19-inch Garmin navigation screen, and a Fusion Apollo marine sound system with four speakers, a subwoofer, and an MS-RA770 stereo. Storage has also been optimized for fenders, coolers, and batteries.
VisionF currently has eight models in its production line, ranging from fully electric catamarans to aluminum giants. But the Superfast 46 stands alone as its boldest and most aggressive model yet. “It’s powerful, provocative, and purpose-built for enthusiasts who crave speed without compromise,” the company says.
The Superfast 46 will make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 9 to 14.
