Tesla has increased the prices of all its Model Y cars in the United States by $1,000, as announced on its website. The base variant of the Model Y will now cost $44,990, while the long-range and performance variants are priced at $49,990 and $53,490, respectively.
The decision to raise prices comes after Tesla had previously indicated in March that it would increase prices for all Model Y cars in the US by $1,000 starting April 1. This move reflects Tesla’s strategy to adjust pricing based on demand and production capacity.
Tesla’s pricing strategy has been dynamic, with frequent changes aimed at managing demand and production. The company has often used price adjustments to stimulate demand during periods of excess production capacity.
