Nintendo has recently unveiled a gameplay showcase for the upcoming game, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which offers players a 10-minute sneak peek.
The game builds upon the success of the 2017 hit The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to fuse objects to create stronger weapons and vehicles. Players should note that enemies will also have access to fused weapons.
Another new feature showcased in the video is the recall ability found on an elevator stone that provides access to the floating islands above Hyrule.
In addition to the gameplay showcase, Nintendo has also announced a special edition Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED, priced at $360 USD. The system features a gold, black, and gray color scheme adorned with Zelda-themed graphics on the system, Joy-Cons, and dock.
Along with the special edition system, Nintendo is also releasing a matching Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Pro Controller and Carrying Case.
The special edition Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED will be available for purchase on April 28th, while the matching Pro Controller and Carrying Case will arrive on May 12th. You can check out the gameplay showcase by visiting Nintendo’s YouTube channel.
