Car sales in France fell again in July, showing signs of a slowing market. New registrations dropped by 7.66% to 116,377 cars, according to fresh data from PFA, the French automotive group. The sharp drop follows a 6.7% fall in June, marking two straight months of decline.
Tesla was hit harder than most. The electric carmaker saw its sales fall by 26.57% in July, delivering only 1,307 cars. Since the start of the year, Tesla’s stock price has dropped by 38.52%, while the overall market has declined by 7.91%. In June, Tesla sales had already fallen 10.04% to 3,646 vehicles.
