Neo Motors opens first all-Moroccan car showroom

Neo Motors, the first 100 per cent Moroccan car manufacturer, celebrated the grand opening of its inaugural showroom in Rabat on Friday. This historic occasion marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey and fulfils the dream of its founders to place the Moroccan flag firmly on the global automotive stage.

The showroom launch was highlighted by the ceremonial handover of keys to a dozen excited customers, who now proudly own the first Neo Motors vehicles designed and manufactured entirely in Morocco. “This moment is the culmination of years of effort and perseverance by our team,” said Nassim Belkhayat, Founder and CEO of Neo Motors. “We are determined to offer Moroccans high-quality automotive products that cater to the specific needs of our local market.”

National ambition: A car for Morocco

The Rabat showroom features Neo Motors’ first model, a testament to advanced Moroccan engineering. This vehicle, designed to excel in performance, safety, and environmental sustainability, perfectly reflects Neo Motors’ commitment to innovation and green mobility.

“This first Neo Motors showroom is the realization of a dream we envisioned four years ago,” Belkhayat added. “Even before building the factory and designing the prototype, our vision was to elevate the Moroccan flag with the country’s first car brand.” In line with this national ambition, Neo Motors plans to establish around fifteen showrooms across Morocco in partnership with the Marjane Group and Speedy Maroc, who will provide after-sales services.

Successful collaborations

Neo Motors’ success story is one of fruitful collaborations with prominent Moroccan companies. Financial support from Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM), Crédit Immobilier et Hôtelier (CIH), Sofac, and Wafasalaf has been crucial in the company’s development.

A bright future for Moroccan automobiles

The opening of Neo Motors’ first showroom is a significant leap forward for Morocco’s automotive industry, instilling confidence and paving the way for a dynamic and innovative national automotive ecosystem. This success marks a triumph for Neo Motors and promises a vibrant future for the Moroccan automotive sector.

Belkhayat concluded, “Our journey is just beginning. We aim to inspire and lead the Moroccan automotive industry towards a sustainable and prosperous future.”
