Mercedes-AMG unveiled a new look for its CLA sedan and long-roof models in January 2023, with the latter branded Shooting Brake.

Turbocharged Engine
A 306-hp 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine has various upgrades for quick responsiveness. With the increased boost from its liquid-cooled turbo, its 400 Nm of torque is available at just 3,000 rpm, resulting in a 0-100 time of 4.9 seconds. Rapid-multi-spark ignition and high-pressure Direct Injection operate at millisecond and molecular speeds. A lightweight diecast-alloy block, variable valve timing, and decreased friction under its red-striped engine cover boost efficiency and performance even further.
7-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission
The sharply geared 7-speed DCT blends a dual-clutch design adapted from racing with AMG SPEEDSHIFT® technology. Its shift paddles and rev-matched downshifts give quick reactions and can change speeds faster than a human can shift a standard manual gearbox. It includes two automated settings, Comfort and Sport, in addition to a manual mode.
Dynamic Select
The multiple drive modes allow you to change the nature of the car with a single control. Automatic Dual-Zone Climate Control
The driver and front passenger can enjoy personalised comfort thanks to separate left and right temperature settings. The system incorporates a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 5 microns from entering the cabin, in addition to completely automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution. Five adjustable vents in the dash and two rear-cabin air vents assist keep passengers comfortable throughout the cabin.
Exterior
Body
Styled by AMG, the sculpted front air dam, flared side sills, and deep rear valance combines with 18-inch wheels to create a gripping look that matches the car’s agility. The exterior air intakes on the front apron have matte chrome slats and black flics to route air to the running gear and around to the shapely side sills.
Sporty Finish
A deep rear valance with a black diffuser insert is accented by dual round chrome tailpipes. A wind tunnel-shaped rear spoiler spans the trunklid’s trailing edge. LED taillamps that are wider and leaner wrap around the shapely trunklid, which is made even more attractive by repositioning the licence plate slightly above the sporty rear valance.
Daytime Running LED Lamps
Bright white LED Daytime Running Lamps assist draw attention to the CLA, adding safety and style. Their striking angular form emphasises the grille’s modest forward lean.

Panoramic Roof
This massive, fully functional glass sunroof provides sweeping skyward views to both front- and rear-seat passengers and boasts a huge panel that can tilt up for ventilation or fold back for an open-air atmosphere. A power inside shade allows occupants to manage the amount of sunlight that enters the cabin, and it may even be opened and closed using the innovative voice control system.
Front Power Seats with 3-Position Memory
With 8-way power adjustment, including 4-way power lumbar support, intuitive, seat-shaped controls assist you in finding your optimal driving posture. With the stroke of a button, a memory system for each front seat retrieves three previously saved seat positions. The memory for the driver’s seat also includes the power steering column and side mirror adjustments. Both front seats have adjustable cushion length for better thigh support and comfort.

A network of LEDs allows you to customise the cabin atmosphere to your liking. The dash/door trim and console are edge-lit, while the dash vents, footwells, door handles, and door pockets sparkle. In addition to 64 configurable colours, three cabin zones, and adjustable brightness, several programmes allow you to enjoy two colours at once, with either static or progressively changing hues. A “light show” welcomes you, and dash vent lights temporarily acknowledges your climate-control settings.
Rearview Mirror Camera
When reversing, a high-resolution camera provides a live view on the central in-dash screen to provide a clearer picture of what’s behind your vehicle. The screen’s steering-dependent active instructions assist you in backing into a parking space, and you can choose between wide-angle and even broader 180-degree views.
Keyless start
Mercedes-Benz pioneered KEYLESS-GO®, which allows you to open, start, and drive away without removing the SmartKey from your pocket or handbag. With a touch of the external handles, you can lock and unlock the doors, and start the engine by stepping on the brake pedal and pressing the KEYLESS-START button on the dash.
Alloy Wheels
The 19-inch AMG® light-alloy wheels have a turbine-inspired multispoke design with a matte black finish and a thin silver perimeter. They are outfitted with high-performance tyres that provide outstanding handling and launch grip.
