Colombian music icon J Balvin has entered the world of electric mobility with the reveal of his first-ever electric motorcycle, a fusion of art, technology, and personal style. Developed through his creative studio VVT (Vita Veloce Team) in partnership with DAB Motors, the bike debuted as the surprise centerpiece of Balvin’s 40th birthday party in Tuscany.
The bike is more than transportation; it’s a rolling work of art. Featuring fully enclosed wheels, a cinematic windshield, deep matte red paintwork, and anime-inspired sticker graphics, the motorcycle is a striking visual spectacle. The prototype was designed using AI tools and 3D modelling and completed in just three weeks, built on DAB’s 1α electric platform.
Technically, it doesn’t disappoint either. The two-seater EV reaches a top speed of 130 km/h and charges from 0 to 100% in 3.5 hours, compatible with both home plugs and Type 2 stations. It also delivers a sensory experience, with sound-absorbing wheel foam creating a low-frequency hum, and LED light strips embedded in the rims to add an atmospheric glow. “It’s cinematic but functional,” said co-designers Mattias Gollin and Simon Dabadie, calling the bike a rideable dream.
Balvin’s VVT studio was launched to explore the intersections of creativity, speed, and style—and this debut certainly sets the tone. The unveiling was kept under wraps, even from Balvin himself, until it was dramatically revealed at Castello di Velona. It’s a bold step for the global superstar and a new signal that celebrity influence in EV design is revving up.
