Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed from May 26, 2026, to November 19, 2026, but fans aren’t left empty-handed.
In a bid to keep engagement high, Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has rolled out a wave of new updates and exclusive rewards for GTA Online players.
According to Take-Two’s latest investor report, the Grand Theft Auto series has now sold over 460 million copies globally, with GTA V alone accounting for 220 million units, making it the second best-selling game in history, trailing only Minecraft’s 350 million sales.
Since its launch in 2013, GTA V and its online component have generated about $10 billion in revenue for Rockstar, underscoring the game’s cultural and financial staying power. Meanwhile, Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold more than 106 million copies, earning its place as the fourth best-selling title worldwide.
GTA online surges again as Rockstar adds free “Bentley” and rewards
Player activity remains strong, with over 170,000 concurrent users on Steam in the last 24 hours. To reward its loyal base, Rockstar has added a lineup of bonuses, including a free Enus Paragon S (Sports), inspired by the Bentley Batur, powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine delivering 730 horsepower.
The vehicle is free to GTA+ subscribers until December 8, alongside exclusive cosmetic items like the Camo Jack Sheepe Cap, Hoodie, and Track Pants. Players can also enjoy new paint customizations, such as the Magenta/Green Flip Chameleon Paint, and special perks during popular heists.
“This is Rockstar’s way of keeping the community excited while waiting for GTA VI,” said Marcus Venn, a gaming analyst at Interactive Futures. “The data shows consistent engagement, even without new storyline releases.”
Massive discounts and heist bonuses for all players
Until December 8, all players who complete The Diamond Casino Heist will receive diamonds in every vault raid, while Cayo Perico Heist participants can earn GTA$100,000 and the Strickler Hat.
Rockstar also announced discounts up to 50% on select luxury aircraft, cars, and weapons. The Gun Van offers a free Baseball Bat, and weapons like the Precision Rifle and Military Rifle are on sale at up to 40% off.
For fans, the updates are more than in-game perks, they’re a sign of continued attention to player experience as the world waits for GTA VI’s release.
“Even with the delay, Rockstar is proving that GTA Online isn’t slowing down,” said Venn. “They’re ensuring players feel rewarded for staying loyal.”
Benefits for players
Players can now enjoy more value for their subscription, access exclusive vehicles and upgrades, and earn double rewards during missions, all while the anticipation for GTA VI builds. For casual gamers and veterans alike, it’s a cost-effective way to expand garages, try new content, and stay connected to one of gaming’s most vibrant communities.
