Avicar is set to disrupt the world of motorsports with its newly launched A-0 private race league. Its technology is the first of its kind to use zero-seat cars and remote reality on a real racetrack.
A-0 private race league is a new technology that allows drivers control a sports car on a race track remotel;y (from home or anywhere on earth) through the Remote Reality technology, drivers can control a sports car remotely from anywhere on earth.
Avicar is different from Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) because it can provide a more immersive experience and environment. For instance, drivers will be able to use a VR headset to remotely control real sportscars.
In addition to working with top developers, car designers, racers, and ex-NASA engineers, Siemens, which is Avicar’s official technology partner, contributed its technologies to the project throughout the research and development process.
The cars have 360-degree cameras that send live video to the driver’s VR or mobile device through 5G, satellite, or high-speed wi-fi. Hand-tracking controls are also synced with the real vehicle to make sure responses happen in real-time. This lets drivers experience the fun of racing without putting themselves or anyone in danger.
When it comes to energy, Avicar’s zero-seat cars are more eco-friendly because they only run on electricity.

The innovative new technology called Remote Reality has the power to disrupt how real-world sports are played forever. Unlike Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Remote Reality offers the power to control real-world sports cars from thousands of miles away, in real-time.
According to Avicar, A-0 private league race is the first utilization of this technology in sports cars using microsecond real-time reactivity and tactile response that comes as close to being in the driver’s seat without having to leave home.
“For the first time, drive a sports car on a race track from home, Avicar said on its website. “Through new Remote Reality technology, drivers can control a sports car remotely from anywhere on earth. “This is the future of racing on wheels.”
